The Swiss Legend Commander series chronograph for women is not a watch for the faint at heart. With a 37mm case diameter, and a 14mm case thickness, it has a lot of size and heft. That said, it is a solid watch with lots of function.
The Commander’s chronograph face is easy to read. The Mother of Pearl contrasts nicely with the hands on all of the dials. The hands are curved, giving the face a feminine look, without losing any utility or readability. The date window sits at the 4:00 position, and the numbers are also easy to read.
It bears repeating that this is a heavy watch. If you are not used to wearing a heavy watch, then wearing a Commander will take some getting used to. The case is curved to accommodate the wrist, and makes the watch comfortable to wear, despite the weight. The band comes with two half links, to make sizing as exact as necessary for the wearer. It also comes with a screw-down crown, and caseback, making it waterproof to 300 meters.
